Ack I have been so busy!

My mom came to visit and we had a lovely time - we visited Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL. This was a shot from their Pond Strolling Garden. I know nothing about koi - all I know is that this pretty beast had beautiful trailing fins where the rest of his brethren appeared to have regular paddle-shaped fins.

I love looking at this picture... makes me happy.

In a strange but good way this picture reminds me of a painting. Just in the look not a particular actual painting.

He's a Butterfly Koi due to his fancy larger fins, they are twice as awesome as regular Koi in my opinion :D. Can't tell you what coloration type though I can never keep all of the japanese names straight :/

I love the glowy look to it, and how there's some parts blurry and some in really clear focus. :heart:
