It was a nice day today and the lilacs were in bloom (they're my favorite flower) so I took all ten "kids" out to take pics of them :) This is 1 of a series of 10 pics, offered as a print at least for a time.

those dont look like lilacs to me, where I live lilacs come in three colors: purple dark purple and white and they dont have obvious polen, its hiden deep inside them. I dont know if I have a picture of my lilac frog pin up yet but if I do, thats what lilacs look like to me. I'll see if I can find a picture of the pin and link it if you want to see.

These flowers are not lilacs. This picture was one of many in a series called "Licks and Lilacs." Some had "licks," some had "lilacs."

I know, I know, but I think that dA watermarks are ugly anyway. ;) And it's too pretty photo to be distracted by it. ;)

Seems like it so far. From all the comments I've gotten only two people were griping about the watermark.

Tiramisu is definitely my favorite. I would get him if I could, but I can't cause the germies on him would be bad for my parrot.

I've never heard that before! I know several people keeping both herps and parrots... what germs are you talking about?

supposedly, the salmonella in any lizard is really bad for birds, makes them sick, lowers immune system response, makes the bird sluggish and unlively, and the salmonella is passed on to any chicks that would be hatched. It is possible to keep both in the same if you wash your hands thoroughly between handling and never let them just go pay the other a visit. However, I can't do that cause my parents are too cautious. Another cool fact about parrots is you can't let them get into your mouth and into your saliva because the yeast in your mouth will give them a yeast infection. Lizards have salmonella to aid thier body, we have yeast, and parrots have neither. However, a yeast infection can be treated, but salmonella never goes away and is alot worse for a parrot to have.

I really do love tiramisu though. I always get so happy when you post a picture of him.
